Here in eastern Nebraska the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. Fall is in the air.
Trees Sensing Fall
September 7th is still two weeks away from the official start of fall. However, the trees are sensing the approaching fall. I can now see the change in the color of the leaves on a few trees.

Soon all the trees will be showing their fall colors. And shortly after that the north winds will blow and I will be raking leaves.
