I made a visit to one of my favorite lakes last night, and sitting out on the shore watching the sun make its way along the sky as a thunderstorm roared up in the Rocky Mountains was enough to take my breath away. I figured I'd snap a few pictures on my phone and share it with you guys too :D
A thunderstorm started to brew up across the lake too, and I managed to nab a few snapshots of the bolts
These pictures don't do the real life view any justice, but I figured that a glimpse at this majestic landscape was better than nothing. I'll bring my good camera out for the next sunset so you can see all the vivid colors these mountains display. Either way, Colorado is a gorgeous area that I'm proud to live in, I hope you enjoyed!
