Day Photo: "MY HYDRANGEA"

WP_20170226_002.jpg

Again the garden gives me a wonderful postcard. This is one of my various "Hydrangeas."

Something fascinating about this beautiful plant is that depending on the characteristics of the soil, its flowers can be pink, white or bluish tones. In relatively acid soils (pH between 4.5-5) the flowers turn between violet and blue, in more alkaline soils (pH between 6-6.5) the flowers acquire pink tones, and in alkaline soils (pH around 8) ) the flowers grow white.

Note: The white spots on the leaves are droplets of paint that splash when painting a nearby wall ... Upps

Happy day, blessings from God for all.
