I love the texture of various grass types, whether dry or green. Nature is full of contrasts and the varying shades and colours fascinate me.
Beautiful pom pom fluffy grasses to delight the eye.
Prefer not to see the man made dyed versions in garish colours that are sold at some gift shops.
Grasses and reeds attract so many birds and insects and many use the grass to build their intricately woven nests. Thinking of the Weaver birds as an example.
The local women also use some of the marsh reeds to create beautiful handmade baskets, for tourists and locals, to purchase.
