The benefits of civilization in the city and in the village.

Yesterday our city's all-knowing news channels announced a rolling blackout and today twice for three hours a day I will not be able to watch the glow of my computer monitor the battery of which has stopped holding an electric charge and all hope is on the electricity in the network.

So let's compare two such moments when the electricity goes out both in the city and in the village.

If these are planned power outages then the conditions are equal in relation to each other but there are nuances.

When electricity goes out in the city. life in it somehow freezes it is difficult to find a suitable occupation and it is like a painful wait for the electricity to appear again.

And in the village you will always find something to do here you need to hammer a nail there you need to uproot a stump and then time will fly by unnoticed.

If in the city in case of an emergency situation in the power grid you only need to call the emergency service and wait a maximum of a couple of hours then in the village this wait can drag on for days and weeks as happens during hurricanes heavy snowfalls and icing of electrical wires and transmission towers that can fall to the ground.

You need to be prepared for such things if suddenly you decide to leave the city forever and settle somewhere in the rural hinterland.

It is good if in this case you have enough hobbies and various kinds of household chores that will not allow you to get bored during power outages.
