Hello beautiful people!
It is warmer in Bucharest during this time of year than I expected and the weather is perfect for a walk in the park. It's a real pleasure to relax under the shade of the trees, to breathe fresh air and to admire the children's play.
A day spent in nature could be the definition of relaxation. And if you read a good book or ride a bike, these activities can bring you joy after an exhausting day.
One of the most beautiful parks in Bucharest is the Cismigiu Park. It is located in the Central Area of Bucharest, and covers an area of about 16 ha.
Cismigiu Park is a perfect place for relaxation.
The history of this park begins in 1779 when 2 fountains were built here near a small lake. Later, a garden was built under the supervision of Wilhelm Mayer and Franz Harer, two well-known landscape architects. Eventually, the park was finished around 1860.
Trees and plants have been brought from different corners of the country and even from Vienna.
It is beautifully arranged in the style of English parks, with a varied vegetation and various flowers that provide a relaxing ambiance, perfect for walking and leisure.
You also have the opportunity to see numerous species of trees. Decorative elements and ceramic pots are planted with flowers.
You can enjoy the wonderful landscapes offered by nature. The lake of the park is an attraction for visitors.
So, whether you take a fresh orange juice or read a few pages of your favorite book on a bench, you will spend a good time in this wonderful park.
Love,
