Sunset Over Seattle

Sunset Over Seattle

Browsing through the Groupon app, I stumbled across a deal for entry to the Smith Tower Observatory in Seattle. I've already been through several places to photograph the Seattle Skyline in several locations. However, most of these locations are kind of on the outskirts of the city rather than the center. Well, here's the old Smith Tower Observatory with cheap entry to the top!

Of course, I picked a day and time when there were high clouds and partly cloudy (it's overcast a lot in Seattle!) so there was a high chance for an epic sunset. This sunset may not have been the most epic but I'll take it :)

I highly recommend you check out the tower if you're ever in Seattle. I think it has a better viewpoint than the Space Needle. There's a guide who will take up the elevator a few flights up to a bar where you can chill or go around the ramparts for a 360-degree view of the city. You can't get a better view of a sunset over Seattle.
