Last night my sister @sjarvie5 was visiting Utah and i took her offroading way up into the high wasatch mountains to get a sunset... we didn't get one.
We got a lightning storm instead right at sunset. And then it chased us off the mountains a minute or two after these pictures... you don't want to be on top of a 9000ft peak during a lightning storm. haha
Also the roads we went up are very dangerous when wet so we high-taled it out of there and got home safely but were able to photograph about 4-5 strikes in a couple minutes and then saw dozens of flashes on the way down.
