Lead from within is an advice I can render to all individuals from varying backgrounds. It doesn't matter where you find yourself, doesn’t matter the sector or industry.
The #life you live is the example of how well you can lead others or lead an organization, to be a successfully leader, you need to lead yourself first.
To be a leader doesn’t require honors, position or degree. Leadership deals with;
- How you can serve and how stable you are emotionally.
- How much communication skills you have, your ability to impart your vision and strategy to execute it.
- Understanding and humaneness (Something a degree and an office would not give you).
Everyone is hungry to lead but do not understand the basics of what it takes to be a true leader.
Take a few seconds and ask yourself these questions;
"Do people enjoy there experience around me?"
"When people leave me, how do they feel?"
"What does it mean to empower somebody?"
We need to take time to genuinely understand our influence on others. As a leader it is your duty to ensure that when people leave your presence, they leave empowered.
To empower someone, what does it mean? It means;
to give a person or a group of people the means to take more control of their lives and become stronger and more independent.

It is imperative to be thoughtful on how your actions, words and choices have effect on people.
Concentrating on your impact on others will set you up to be a successful and understanding leader where your presence will really make a difference. This is what it means to LEAD FROM WITHIN.
