If you are a newbie, and joined Steemit without knowing anybody or nothing else, you might find yourself in an unfamiliar road and don't know what to do. Due to the complexities of some of the features, a newbie needs to learn how things work, thus, joining a team or community does work.

I was once a member of a team which somehow helped, but upon searching, digging deeper, and self-learning, I grasped a lot of things on Steemit. That's why you need to explore and navigate Steemit even the technical and complex things if you want to succeed here on Steemit. The entire Steemsphere isn't just about upvoting and posting, or interacting. You need to learn about curating, managing your power, trading your Steem and SBD, and joining communities.

Joining different communities

I feel like stuck in a single position for months. Posting, upvoting, and interacting. But when something happened by which, us minorities, were overlooked from the team for not considering our opinions and suggestions. I decided to explore and join different communities where I learned a lot, and not even dwell on just posting and earning, rather there is an awakening that you should also consider and help other people who are not too familiar on a lot of things that Steemit offers.

STEEMIT PHILIPPINES (Steem PH)

Due to the help of one of the members of the team, I finally embraced being part of this countrywide community. What I am looking forward is a team that would be established in our province. I am busy recently and still waiting for progress but it will be a huge community since there are more than 20 members from our province already.

STEEMIT ACHIEVERS

I feel like it's too late to join this team since my friend @lebron2016 has been inviting me months ago but I initially rejected due to an issue that I cannot state here. When things around the former community I am a part of did not go well, I was welcomed by team members who are made of tons of artists, that I feel like I don't fit in because I don't have the talents that most members do. However, they are welcoming and was not ignored by them. Thanks to sir @long888, @lebron2016,and other members who welcomed me with open arms.

STEEM UNITY PH
This is actually a new team headed by sir @bobiecayao as well as some new Steemians from Negros. Hopefully, the team will prosper and I can sense the new team will become a success.

Group Chats
I am currently in two Group Chats as well where we are encouraging and teaching one another with Steemit-relate stuff. The first GC might become part of Steem PH-Pangasinan (hopefully) while the second one is purely a GC with great people.
