Walk of Hope update : Ongoing Bayawan Summit 2018

After the LIHOK Visayas Arts Festival, our very own @flabbergast-art is now back in Bayawan City for a summit. This has been in the planning prior to Lihok 2018 in Bavolod City. As he was very busy during the festivals and my own situation atm, we have not been talking of the ongoing activities right now in Bayawan.

What he'd sent me were their activities and photo shoots in Lihok Festivals where cultural artists and craftsmen showcased their skills and local crafts in a 4-day festivals and conferences.

This festival was a collaboration between the Philippines' National Commision of Cultural Arts (NCCA) and Negros Museum. @flabbergast-art's indigenous musical instruments, together with their Bayawan bamboo crafts and innovations were put on display in the Negros Museum.

@flabbergast-art might just be the only Steemian present, but he did represent the platform with the Steemit Philippines' flyers that he brought with him.
