Persib Bandung will travel to Mandala Stadium, Jayapura, to hold the match against Madura United and Persipura Jayapura.
Persib was forced to move cages because he received sanctions from the PSSI Discipline Commission (Komdis) which required the team nicknamed Maung Bandung to play outside Java.
Persib coach Mario Gomez said his team would leave for Papua on Saturday (6/10/2018) next.
"The preparation is that we will go to Papua and we will play there as a home. Maybe after that, we will continue to be there because after that we will compete against Persipura," Gomez said on Thursday (04/10/2018).
In addition to being effective, Gomez assessed that the quality of the Stadium Mandala field was quite good with a large audience capacity.
"I feel good, the capacity is large and the pitch is good so it doesn't matter. But the main reason we went there was that we didn't want to have to go from stadium one to another. So we only made one trip," he said. 
Diberitakan sebelumnya, Komisi Disiplin (Komdis) PSSI telah memutuskan sanksi kepada Persib Bandung, kelompok suporter pendukungnya, dan panitia penyelenggara pertandingan Persib versus Persija Jakarta pada 23 September lalu.
Sanksi diberikan setelah insiden tewasnya seorang suporter Persija, Haringga Sirla, akibat dikeroyok sejumlah oknum suporter di area Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api, Bandung, beberapa jam sebelum laga dimulai.
Seperti dikutip dari situs resmi PSSI, Selasa (2/10/2018), Komdis memutuskan memberikan hukuman untuk Persib berupa sanksi pertandingan kandang di luar Pulau Jawa, tepatnya di Kalimantan, tanpa penonton sampai akhir musim kompetisi 2018.

For supporters and spectators, Komdis also gave sanctions in the form of a ban on watching Persib Bandung matches at home and away as well as other League 1 matches since this ruling was determined until the half of the 2019 season.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the competition organizing committee and security officer were prohibited from participating in the committee for the Persib Bandung match for two years.
