A friend of mine told me few months ago that he saw a peacock on a highway not far away from home (Germany, Siegen).
I didn't know if I should believe him this, because wtf..peacocks are living in India normally, aren't they?...But..in fact, one week later the same peacock has walked over the plot from my parents... WTF (the second). They've called lots of people to find out the owner of this gorgeous animal. But they had no clue so they've decided to care about it. HIS name is now Arthur (like the King) , because he's living now in the enclosure of their chickens and he's still acting like a king in it. And the cock? 🐔 ... he don't get along with this new family member. haha but anyway, peacocks can be very loud when they're screaming, especially in the mating and breeding season.
Haha my parents have bought another peacock, HER name is Jenny, because the wife of King Arthur was Gennifer, so in fact that name sounds a lil' bit strange. So my parents just took the short version.
Now they (or better we 🙂) are waiting for some eggs. Will keep you updated with this.
By the way...there has been spotted more of these peacocks around our hometown Siegen. WTF (the last)
