All great ideas! We have lots of little indie bookstores here in the Twin Cities and the fall would be the perfect time to line up some readings/signings. Thank you Jay!

Yeah, that could be a good idea if it wasn't too expensive. Although, I guess the other thing is most of those services are for digital books only and if you just offer this as a physical book it might

I have a lot of respect for Marines. My nephew was a drill instructor for a lot of years, he's still serving in SoCal. I think his twenty is up in about four more years.

Thanks Jay! I'll look into this. Many of these kinds of things are services they make indie authors pay for but, sometimes, the investment is worth it. It might even make sense to list some of my older

It's too bad you can't find a way to get onto some of the lists that services like Book Bub and Pixel of Ink put out. I know a lot of times those books are significantly discounted which you wouldn't want,

People Really Do Choose a Book by Its Cover
The last few days have been crunch-time for me—it’s been hectic but highly productive. Interior proofing for the new book, done. Final approval on the book cover, complete. Next comes the uploading process

It's probably a very similar vibe, in terms of peace & quiet, to the early morning. Most nights I'm ready to shut down by 10:30 or so.

All my years in the military, getting up early before the ass crack of dawn. Yeah, It is embedded in me still. Wake up early every morning still without an alarm. Don't sleep soundly. Toss and turn. Crazy.
