Making macaroons

I am bursting with excitement folks! I wanted to skip this tutorial and immediately proceed in making this

A cat without a whisker! I need to recognize the need to show you guys how to make this first.

This was scheduled way before the others. I felt bad that I was really not able to show you how to make such a thing so, I am making up for that.

I started with this.

I still did not buy a round cutter. I am once more improvising with an icing pipe.

Roll a piece of clay.

Make some rough details on the edges. I just poked around to get this.

Set these aside. For the filling, get a white clay. Cut a round shape. I highly recommend using the same tool you used previously.

Turn one of the pieces and place the white filling.

Your own imagination is the limit actually. I will show you how I created the marbled effect on the blue macaroon.

Knead but make sure that the colors do not blend together. Then roll and you'll have something that looks like this.
