Poem Analysis 7 || Muscle & Bone

Another Wednesday to share my views on a lovely poem here again on the hive platform ✨
My week since last week Wednesday has been rather hectic and so I hadn't been active on here..
This week is looking to be the same but mehh... I'm already here, so why hit the hay now?

One thing I was forced to realize this past week is how limited our creative prowess is as humans.
The ability to not be able to make things out of thin air..
If we had this ability, life would have been way easier.

But enough in talking about what could have been, let's read a poem about it 😀✨..

Muscle And Bone ~ Randy L. Mclave

GOD creates out of muscle and bone
Man creates out of steel and stone
Man builds his structures to grow and rise,
To sail the waves or touch the sky.

GOD gives life to the breeze
To move the clouds, or plant the seeds
To bring the rain upon the earth
And to quieten the pain when it comes to hurt.*

Man creates with dexterity and complexity
To advance our race or to build our city,
Though man cannot create a leaf,
Though instead, he can destroy a seed.

Man can create out of steel and stone But, only GOD can give life to muscle and bone.

My Analysis

It's a lovely short poem talking about the difference between God and Man.
It's tackles the creativity of both beings with this first 2 lines

God creates out of muscle and bone
Man creates out of steel and stone.

In these lines it talks about the materials both use for their creations.

It then talks about what both beings can do with said materials.
The man was praised for being athletic and full of dexterity and complexity due to our determination to enhance the race.

It's a lovely poem that really gives you such warm feelings inside. 🙂🔥

That's it for my analysis, if you have any thoughts about the poem you can comment in the comments, 😗✨

And now our...
