Maintaining and building togetherness in diversity is indeed a business that is not easy to do in a community that inhabits an area. Matching or harmonizing differences to achieve a goal requires precision and mutual respect for each individual in a community formed because of sociology, conflict is defined as a social process between two or more people (can also group) where one party tries to get rid of another by destroying it or making it helpless. Conflict is motivated by differences in characteristics that individuals carry in an interaction. These differences include physical characteristics, intelligence, knowledge, habits, beliefs, and so on. With the participation of individual characteristics in social interaction, conflict is a natural situation in every society and not one community has never experienced conflict between its members or with other community groups, conflicts will only disappear along with the loss of the community itself.
Conflict with integration. Conflict and Integration run as a cycle in society. Controlled conflict will result in integration. Conversely, imperfect integration can create conflict. This means managing well the differences as part of the conflict will shape integration within the community. And if we are wrong in managing differences that exist in society, conflicts will arise. Conflict can occur because of an interaction called communication. Ability and communication behavior will influence the occurrence of conflict if the ability and behavior of communication are not managed properly by individuals whose communication is a transaction process that must continue to be sought to unite individual differences to find common meaning. Good communication will form togetherness in the differences that exist in a community. Our country is a country that has a huge difference in society within the framework of the Republic of Indonesia. Any difference is found in Indonesian society, religion, language, culture, customs and various culinary. Unifying these differences only with Pancasila which is the ideology of our nation. Pancasila is a knitter for differences that exist to form integration in social life where togetherness in differences that exist in society must be maintained and developed to reduce and even eliminate conflicts that have a negative impact on society.
