The sale of BitTorrent (BTT) tokens on Binance Launchpad yesterday was a resounding sucess, with all 59.4 billion BTT sold in a space of 15 minutes, Newsbtc reported.
According to Newsbtc, the astounding demand for BTT gave rise to technical issues on Binance Launchpad, with some buyers being directed to error pages when they tried to make their purchase.
Justin Sun, the founder and CEO of Tron, which acquired BitTorrent, shared on Twitter:
"I would like to explore the possibility with @binance to giveaway free $BTT to everyone on launchpad fails to get #BTT today. #BitTorrent community wants you! Not 100% guarantee."
