If there ever was ever a coin to be had in your portfolio, this is the one. The purchase of any coin in any ICO have an element of risk associated with it, but this is one of those coins where the rewards by far outweigh the risks, with exponential potential.

First, lets get some basic background on the medical industry/ pharmaceutical industry.

Cannibals is one of the most used recreational products in the world, both legally and illegally based on the country in which you are based. There is not a single person that I know that doesn't know what cannabis is , and more importantly, each and every person has an opinion on it. Some for good reasons, but some for good. But that is not important , because the emphasis should be placed on the fact that it is something that everyone has on opinion about. From a marketing perspective what does that mean?

It means that its one of those products that markets itself. From an investment perspective, that is the golden goose. It has all the components of vitality, and with the use of social media, the exposure can only increase. As an investor, I try to make decisions from the perspective of the common man. Its so easy to digest that eve if I had no education at all, this is a business that I would definitely invest in.To me, this is a no brainier.

We have all come to understand that culture is a big driver of business, and one doesn't even have to look far to see this. When you look at the entertainment industry like music, you can clearly see a collaboration between youth culture and business. Artists and athletes being endorsed by corporations so thy can increase sales. it's marketing and when a business can bring together their business with the culture, it's money in the bank. Culture is a big driver. If you look at the acquisition of Beats head sets called "Beat by Dre", it was an acquisition not based on the actual product, but on buying part of the culture. It was a billion dollar acquisition that Apple could not resist. When you look at the entertainment industry, its highly implied that cannibals is used. Why ? Because it's part of the culture and their just as many studies that show that hard drugs and alcohol have a greater negative effect than the use of cannabis. But pay attention, because this conversation is about legal cannabis, not weather you use it or not. From an investment perspective, I see it as gold.

How big is the Cannabis market and what is the potential as it continues to become legal:

According to www.havocscope.com, in 2010, " law enforcement officials estimated that the US black market in marijuana was worth $41 Billion." That is the US market alone. Again n according to the article, "The marijuana seized by US customs represented 94 percent of all marijuana seized around the world in 2013."

"According to a 2014 report by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), over 80 million people living in Europe are estimated to have used an illegal drug at some point in their lives. The number of people who have tried an illegal drug represents about a quarter of the adult population in the EU.

The most used illicit drug in Europe was marijuana, with 73.6 Million people stating that they tried it at least once in their lifetimes. In the most recent year measured (2012), the report stated that 18.1 million used marijuana. A total of 2,000 tonnes of marijuana and hashish is consumed in the EU each year." I am using old number to get you to understand the growing trend, tat even when social media was not big back then, the industry very much was.

"Illegal Pot Sales Topped $46.4 Billion in 2016, and That's Good News for Marijuana Entrepreneurs." That is the headline from one of the most accredited online publication on entrepreneurship and business in the world.
The article continues, "The report, which will be released in full in February, found that legal marijuana sales reached $6.9 billion across the U.S. and Canada, growing by a whopping 34 percent compared to the year before. "

When you invest, it's common knowledge that you one to invest in companies that have been highly regulated and need disruption. That is no similar to what digital assets are doing in the financial industry or the blockchain in government. To me, this is the bitcoin of this industry. That is just my own perspective.

We are taking about legal cannabis here, and its potential in the legal industry as it continues to become regulated.

According to the Paragon Whitepaper, a whopping $7 billion was generated in 2016 from legal cannabis, as opposed to about $46 billion illegal. What would 1% of the illegal market share do for the legal market share. I don't know. ...How about an increase in $460 million . That only 1% in one country.

Additionally , there is a substantial enough of independent research on the internet that shows the medical benefits of this industry just as there is on why some say is negative. I'm looking at it purely from an investment perspective and I say its worth allocating some funds to.

For many years, the pharmaceutical industries and companies have been awarded the sole benefit to do medical research, of which would result in huge amounts of profits for them because they had the money , experience and knowledge. For the first time, the common man also has the opportunity to do the same for as little as they can afford. Why should they be the ones that are allowed to take risks for profits? Why assume that we are not as intellectual capable of making or own decisions. We have just as equal rights.

Lets look at the business model straight from the whitepaper for independent analysis:
"We started Paragon to resolve many issues currently faced by the cannabis industry.
Blockchain-built smart contract technology is ideally suited to organize, systematize,
and bring verification and stability to a traditionally unchecked industry. Even
before full legalization there are many opportunities for blockchain and crypto-tokens
to enhance the cannabis community and business model.

Paragon will use blockchain smart contracts to:
• Create an immutable ledger for all industry related data via ParagonChain
• Offer payment for industry related services and supplies through ParagonCoin
• Establish niche co-working spaces via ParagonSpace
• Organize and unite global legalization efforts through ParagonOnline
• Bring standardization of licensing, lab testing, transactions, supply chain
and ID verification through apps built in ParagonAccelerator

Additionally:
-Using Blockchain Smart Contracts to Innovate the Cannabis Industry.
-PARAGON COIN
ParagonCoin (PRG) can create a global ecosystem where businesses and consumers
can quickly and easily verifiably transfer funds — business to business, business
to consumer, and/or consumer to consumer. A crypto-currency correctly implemented
is the logical solution to an ongoing issue with an unregulated marketplace. It
readily solves the most major impediment to cannabis innovation and growth: the
banking and payments issues.

There is a lot that still needs to be done from a developmental perspective, but that is nit unique Paragon. Bitcoin still doesn't meet the intentions of Satoshi as per the whitepaper for its use as a peer-to-peer digital payment curreny, however its value continues to increase. Even ethereum has not fully delivered yet it price also continues to increase. Why? Sentimental value plays a big role. You don't need o believe in bitcoin for it to be profitable because there are enough people that have taken up that role.

Team:
They seem a solid and big enough team with enough background to be deliver.

Advisory Board:
They have a great advisory board which includes culture influencers such as :
JAYCEON TERRELL TAYLOR aka The Game (https://www.instagram.com/losangelesconfidential/) which is great for marketing.

This is my perspective on the investment and is not financial advise . Upvote the article for an even greater analysis perspective of Paragon. This is also a disclosure that at the time of writing the article, I have no personal relationship with the company or any of their members. This article is an independent opinion.

According to Hufington Post ,"North Americans Spent $53.3 Billion On Marijuana Last Year, Most Of It Illegally"
