wav-Dr. and myself have been working together since November 2018, so coming up on a year now.   In that time we have released 4 full length albums a huge handful of singles and collaborated with over 20 different artists in various sound styles.    We are a fusion genre experiment project that seems to just be, well, working.   Our first release Wav-Legion dropped with great response from fans at the beginning of the year and as things have progressed forward a growing fan base of solid supporters and listeners that are absolutely blowing our mind with there love for the sound play we are throwing out there.     This is a passionate journey for both wav-Dr. and myself.   Having been in this music game now for over 10 years I have yet to come across someone as driven musically as wav-Dr. beside myself of course who I believe is just a complete maniac when it comes to this music.     We are a great team and really flow in this zen-like state as we create these projects for you all to enjoy.    But I gotta be honest here we don't just do this for all ya'll lol we do this for us as well.   This is a real outlet for me in this life, it's my way of expression and release, I really don't know how to be anything else as good I know how to write and sing my emotions.     I am in a place where I just feel truly honored that any of you would come and listen and think so highly of the art.   I am humbled and blessed by wav-Dr. who has been a complete angel in my life allowing me complete freedom to explore and express.

We are currently working on a brand new all-acoustic stripped-down style album.   We are about 4 songs deep as of now and the response has been tremendous for us.   Thank you all so deeply for your love and support with this music, from the absolute bottom of my heart and soul.

Fortified –  Wav Legion (reviewed by Dave Franklin)

Dancing About Architecture

"Books and covers eh? Looking at the band name it would be easy to think that you are about to encounter something a bit synthy, a bit dancey, a bit electronic and experimental. After all I did. But as Fortified emanates from the speakers you realise that really isn’t that at all. In fact, it is the opposite of that. A voice and a  guitar, as old school and analog as you can get. The former is an imploring and entrancing delivery from Bonnie Legion, the latter deft and delicately picked acoustics from wav-Dr….hence the name, I guess it was either that or Dr Bonnie!

Any embellishments and additions come from some subtle and supple layering, extra vocal harmonies and lush guitar intricacies but essentially you have a song which is going to sound pretty much the same played live as it does on the recording. And there aren’t many acts who can claim that these days. If there is a third instrument it is space. Space is something that can only be utilized by those who know how self-edit well enough to leave room for it to do its thing, who know how to conjure it from gaps in the music, who can manipulate it’s negative space into a positive sound, and that is exactly what Wav Legion does here.

You hear it in the briefest of cracks between the picked notes, in the fad outs and pauses for breath between the words. In fact, it is so important to the song that once you notice the use of space you realize that the words and the music are merely frameworks, sonic lines which merely sit on the border between sound and silence and the song is all the more powerful for it.

Whereas some bands are happy to throw everything including the kitchen sink into a recording…not to mention a  complete studio and half a music shop, others are clever enough to understand that a song should only include just enough to make its point. And that is what is happening here. As clever as the music they  make is, it is the use of that space which shows just how switched on  they really are."
