Brief History of watercolor, when early paleolithic man first painted pictures, humans and animals inside the cave using charcoal, natural earth colour called ochre and other natural pigments. Watercolor refers to both the medium and the resulting artwork.

Most of the time watercolors are painted on paper. dips a wet brush into the paint and applies it to the paper. The amount of water on the brush determines the darkness or lightness of the color.
Water colors dry very fast or dry very quickly.
Watercolors are equally appropriate for making a quick sketch with a few strokes and a detailed.
