Description of the painting
Good morning to all of Steemit's dear friends.
In my fiction readings there is an author who has been among my favorites. Franz Kafka, one of the most important writers of the last century and founder of Modernism and Magical Realism. Here, today I share an oil painting on canvas, which puts the vision of the famous unfinished novel by kafka: "the castle" (original German title: Das Schloß) and published after the writer's death.
The novel is perhaps the darkest and most mysterious of Kafka's literary works.
Surreal work, my painting wants to represent the condition of an absent and alienated humanity, the colors I used and the painting technique show an unreal and solitary atmosphere, as it will happen to the poor Mr. K the land surveyor.
Even the forms I painted are deliberately blurred and indistinct with shapeless masses, I think that kafka has never wanted to give a realistic and concrete portrait of his characters, indeed he has always tried to mystify their essence and human appearance with tricks and subterfuges , laws and rules typical of the bureaucracy, up to tearing them to alienation.
In conclusion, my work is a tribute to my favorite writer and I invite you to read some of his great literary work.

Buongiorno a tutti cari amici di Steemit.
Nelle mie letture di narrativa trova posto un autore che è stato tra i miei preferiti. Franz Kafka, uno dei letterati più importanti del secolo scorso e fondatore del Modernismo e del Realismo Magico. Ecco, oggi condivido un mio dipinto ad olio su tela, che pone la visione del famoso romanzo incompiuto di kafka: "il castello" (titolo originale tedesco: Das Schloß) e pubblicato dopo la morte dello scrittore.
Il romanzo è forse il più oscuro e misterioso delle opere letterarie di Kafka.
Opera surreale, il mio dipinto vuole rappresentare la condizione di una umanità assente e alienata, i colori che ho usato e la tecnica pittorica mostrano una atmosfera irreale e solitaria, come accadrà al povero signor K l'agrimensore.
Anche le forme che ho dipinto sono volutamente sfuocate e indistinte con masse informi, penso che kafka non abbia mai voluto dare un ritratto realistico e concreto dei suoi personaggi, anzi ha sempre cercato di mistificare la loro essenza e l'aspetto umano con trucchi e sotterfugi, leggi e regole tipiche della burocrazia, fino a cotringerli all'alienazione.
In conclusione il mio lavoro vuole essere un omaggio al mio scrittore preferito e vi invito a leggere qualche sua grande opera letteraria.
