Yup! It seems that cryptocurrency is even reaching the hardcore anime community as well. Looks like the Tokyo Otaku Mode company is creating a new crypto coin called the "Otaku Coin" which will be made around the production and consumption of anime, manga and video games. And will help fund more the anime industry moving forward in the future.
Otaku Coin is also going to be made to reward users when they watch anime in sites like crunchyroll, go to huge anime events like the New York, Puerto Rico and San Diego Comic Cons and giving feedback. This is a new way for anime and gamers to make some extra money in forms of Otaku Coin Tokens doing the same things you already enjoy! I am sure ALL anime fans are all for this idea. This is very revolutionary for the anime industry and benefits both creators and fans of the anime industry! And who knows, this coin can go up a lot in value if it becomes a success in under a year!
