Steemit Open Mic Week #68 - September ( Earth , Wind and Fire) cover song feat. Gabriel Garcia.

Hello Steemit!

This is my submission for week #68 of the open mic contest . Keeping the spirit of bringing new musicians to the platform today I'd like to present my buddy Gabriel Garcia ( he is waiting for his account to get approved ) . I've known Gabriel for almost my whole life, we went to school together and now we run alongside Sergio Vivar ( which I am also getting in ) the ''Real Sociedad'' studios in Guayaquil. He is also a musician , songwriter and producer and while we were in the middle of producing an album ( which I'll make a post about soon ) I talked him about Steemit . He didn't need much convincing to get on the steem train. He is a hilarious dude and quite a character so we decided to do this take on one of our favorite songs : September!

Thanks to @luzcypher and @pfunk for hosting this amazing contest , It's so nice to see how the Open Mic family keeps growing strong!

"September"

Do you remember the
21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

Ba duda, ba duda, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love we shared in September
Only blue talk and love
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

The bell was ringing, aha
Our souls were singing
Do you remember
Never a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
De ya

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya

Oh... this is what happens when you try to stay serious around Gabriel...

Thanks for reading and listening!
