Hello Steemit community, it's a pleasure to us bring this video we made for OpenMic Contest this week while we're working on several projects to share in this beautiful blog.
It's well known that our percussionist Roca @roca.rjps is a very talented guy with his instrument, but today he decided to bring us his deep voice for sing a beautiful American Spiritual Gospel, the classic Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. An hearth touching song with a happy melody and a deep protest lyrics.
We had so much fun recording this music video because we are learning to make better videos and we count with the help of people who know so much about it and the process is so satisfying for all our team.
This is our first video where we use our apreciated AKG P420 condenser mic and all our gear to record sound and it went so well.
The wonderfull guitar of the cuban master Govert Benitez let us record his signal through input line while we recorded the Roca's voice with the condenser mic.
A nice tip we learned doing this was make a dry sound like clap to mark the sync with video and audio. This saved my life when I edit the video.
Nothing is perfect and it took several takes to get it right... The good side of this are the bloopers we got for you.
