Hey Steemers
Here is my submission for this weeks open mic competition week 75. (Sorry I forgot to mention week 75 in the clip, but I hope its OK nevertheless)
The song is a blues about the people who come around door knocking like politicians and Bible evangelicals. Lately I had a few drop by which I found to be quite an interesting experience and so I wrote a little blues song about it.
Lyrics
Well they come around lately and knock upon my door
Well they come around lately and knock upon my door
They're singing praises of the good book and preaching gods law
well they start a conversation and they talk with me eye to eye
well they start a conversation and they talk with me eye to eye
So I tell them to make they're way down, for all the love in the sky
But as the morning was dawning they came around once more
But as the morning was breaking they Knocked down upon my door
well I've told you little darling, don't want to see you here no more
Well they come around lately and knock down upon my door
Well they come around lately yeah they knock upon my door
They're singing praises of the good book and preaching gods good law
As always, thank you for watching
Until next time, keep on steeming!!
