Lose Weight with the One Bowl Diet Plan

The Plan:

A one-bowl diet plan is a systematic plan to help you lose weight in a fast and efficient manner.

This diet plan is simple and easy to implement in the comfort of your home.

It does not restrict specific food item’s. It just focuses on the portion size.

The practice will not make you weak or cause any deficiency of certain vitamins or minerals which are needed for your body on a daily basis as you are not going to change the food you eat daily.

Why One Bowl:

Most of the people don’t know when to stop eating. There is no such indicator of our body which shows when we should stop eating as we have consumed enough then what is the need. There is no way for the body to indicate that because it doesn’t know anything about the food. It is only interested in some energy which will keep it going which it gets by breaking any food. It is not at all concerned about the taste. But we eat for pleasure. So I can say this pleasure is the main ingredient in our food which is making us obese. I don’t want you to agree with my theory, but the one bowl diet plan does work!

Eating out of one-bowl- The Budhha’s way:

Buddha always ate from one-bowl. Food for Buddha is very understated.

Eating out of one-bowl is not just about diets. It’s a different way of thinking about food.

One-bowl builds a relationship, a harmony with the food you eat.

Food tastes better and you eat for physical and mental growth.

By changing one-bowl as the vessel for your meals you become more aware of the food you eat, how you eat, and the effects on your body.

There is a whole philosophy in adaption to the one-bowl.

So chose your bowl carefully. You are going to eat in the same bowl for the next few months.

We eat for pleasure which comes from the head. We never try to listen the message body gives to prescribe it’s need. With a little practice and over some time you will be able to find out these body needs.

We eat for convenience and comfort. In this fast-moving world, it is a necessity. No wonder so many people are suffering from food-related diseases like obesity, indigestion and clogged blood vessel and many other.

How To:

Start with first thing. Get a bowl which is slightly less than your daily food intake at a particular time (Lunch or Dinner). Don’t make it too small to achieve results faster. You may feel hungry and eat more during the next followed meal. Now the essential thing, whenever you eat, you have to eat only from your bowl, not from any other cutlery. This way you will be able to fix your portion size. In less than a weeks time your body will adjust to the amount of food. I will suggest taking just two meals a day (Lunch and Dinner). There is no restriction on what you eat, but the only condition is whatever you eat goes to your bowl first and then your stomach. Try to make only one dish at a time to go in your bowl made from cereals, vegetables, pulses, legumes, etc. which should be good enough to fulfill your daily intake of vitamins and minerals. Learn someone dish recipes. In less than 15 days you should lose 5-6 kg if you follow the plan strictly. Continue this for one month and reduce the bowl size in the next month, which would be approximately 3/4th of the first bowl. Use it for next one month. The third bowl would be almost half of the first. Use it for next two months. By the end of the 4th month, you should see the fantastic results, and I am sure you will get it as you will see the preliminary results in just 15 days which will give a boost to continue!

Results:

The results depend on how much you follow the plan. You have to always eat from the same bowl.

Whatever results observed/obtained are after testing on myself and some of my family friends and colleagues.

The fundamental of the program is the idea of limiting the food amount without disturbing the daily nutrition. If you understand the concept, you can design your own plan.

A meta-analysis done on whether smaller plates reduce consumption indicates that reducing the plate diameter by 30% reduces the consumption of food by 30%.
