The Equinox is my favourite of the eight festivals which celebrate Life’s dance through the seasons. Today marks Spring :D
This day falls exactly between the shortest day of the year - Winter Solstice and the longest day - summer Solstice. The Equinox marks the point where the day is as long as the night.
We have reached equilibrium on this day preceding the Sun’s yearly triumph.
This great sense of balance is a crucial reminder to not swing too far into extremes but find that peaceful loving balance in our hearts.
We are in the great invisible university and I believe I signed up for this or so my dreams have shown me. We have accès to the highest heavens and the lowest hells. Both are necessary to teach us, and balance is the ultimate lesson.
