Long Sword

Heya people of the world! I hope everyone is hanging on their slippers ready for the second wave of the pandemic. Where I live, we started second lock down a couple days ago.

So, what else to do than being creative, right?

I decided to try making a 3D model/texture/scene a day, and this is day 2.
This is a long sword I modeled and texture using Blender 2.83.

The object and textures have been exported as a .fbx file and are now easy to take in and out of any scene or composition in the future! All the textures are fully procedural, from the metal to the leather part, EXCEPT that little anarchy A you see on the pommel, which was just painted as a texture for the joke of it.
I am working on a pack of basic medieval items for the future, but still unsure about the numbers of items the pack should include before being marketable. What do you think ?

Anyways, here are a few other shots, including a clay shot and a wireframe view. And yes, the topology was pain in the neck to clean and to get right, I had to restart the modeling part from zero a few times to get it right.

Thanks for paying attention!
