Athletes around the world have been training all their life to go to the Olympics. Many of the top talents have little to no trouble finding the money and sponsorship needed to train and attend the games. Yet, every Olympics there are many Athletes who qualify for the games and do not have the resources toattend the competition.
Here are two profiles (There are possibly more) Athletes looking to secure last minute financial help to make it to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

She is possibly in the most need of crowdfunding help to make it to the Olympics, having raised 9,179 of the 11,111 Euros set for a goal to make the trip. I put out a few tweets to her supporters online to contact her and invite her onto steemit to help reach her goal.

There was barely enough money for the Indian Winter Olympic Team this year and the IOC stepped in to pay for the Athletes trip. Funding for the Indian Team is in need for more than Shiva himself, but I saw his name in the most recent articles about Athletes in need. Contact via twitter
