From about Jul 17, 21:37 UTC- 22:37 UTC there was a major attack on the backbone infrastructure of Cloudflare.

Almost all DNS traffic had collapsed.
It is important to say that we are connecting to websites that use Cloudflare's DDos protection in their network.

We need to get into the routing of cloudflare to resolve websites that use cloudflare as DNS.

If someone should be able to attack this bridge or take it offline.
This way all websites that are behind cloudflare will not be able to connect properly.

Affected were among others:
hiveonboard.com, commentcoin.net,slushpool.com, DISCORD, Spotify and other websites and applications that use Cloudflare as a security solution.

However, the Bitcoin Mining Hashrates were hardly affected, since they use the stratum mining protocol. Mostly cloudflare is omitted in order not to lose latency.

Data Centers impacted include: SJC, DFW, SEA, LAX, ORD, IAD, EWR, ATL, LHR, AMS, FRA, CDG

Edit: Cloudflare has fixed the errors from this attack:
