Friends of the cold and mosquitoes
Walking without toes
We are the sons of no father
We are the daughters of no mother

On our own we survive
Rag-like clothes we wear
On our feet occupy no foot wear

Decisions on our own we make
Our bath by the lake we take
Three square meals we cannot afford because of our fate
Nuisance they call us without faith.

Even when they cannot help us
He who gives us food we follow
His ideology we digest and his instructions we follow
We pick up sword for a fight we don’t know
But then…

We wish to be cool
Like those we see go to school
We wish to be empowered
We wish to add value to our community
It is not in our wish to be thugs
Give us a chance
And we will let the sword down.
The government has money for war but can't feed the poor.
It's a season of Love let's spread love to everyone including the less privileges kids.
