PPI Lhokseumawe city part 1

This is the condition today at the location of the fish auction or people call it PPI which means the location of fishing fish landing in the city of Lhokseumawe especially regional Aceh in general.

You can see in the picture that in the west there are hundreds of traditional wooden fishing boats landing their boats next to the PPI dock.
This location is in one of the fishing villages or the fishing village of Gampong Pusong Lama Lhokseumawe Aceh Indonesia. As stated in the previous post that the village it is one of the parts included in the Lhokseumawe City Government of Aceh, where the majority of the population works as fishermen.

This village has been known for a long time since the founding of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia had become a fishing village, even during the Dutch, Portuguese and Japanese occupations, it had become one of the central fishing locations in growing the economy at that time. So many foreign ships landed their ships in the region.

Its strategic location becomes one of the conveniences for fishermen to land their catch on the jetty after returning from freelancing. So it looks a lot of wooden fishing boats as well as traditional wooden boats pulled over to unload fish after they finish from fishing.
In the region the economy of the community revolves around trading and other rights that support their lives in making a living, not only fishermen but also traders use the location as a place to make a living. Mainland fish traders and special food vendors to the crew when they reach the mainland have finished fishing, as well as the sellers of food dishes to be sold to everyone in the area. Then the location of PPI is one of the locations of local people's economic turnover and also residents outside the region.

So many things contained in that location, including lovers of natural beauty, also always visit the location. Their goal is just to see the natural beauty of the ocean and while watching the activities of fishermen who are either leaving or returning from the ocean.

Community visits are increasingly crowded in the afternoon, because in addition to seeing the activities of fishermen in carrying out daily routine tasks, also served with beautiful scenery such as:

• Watch the sunset
• Watching the waves passing by in the ocean
• Watching traditional fishermen anchored trawl on the beach
• Bathing or swimming by the beach flanked by rock breaking waves that stand firmly on the sand beach
• Work out on the white sandy beach and clean
• and many other things that you can see in that location.

If you are bored with the conditions mentioned above, then you can rent a wooden boat at a cheap price and you can see firsthand the grouper farmers who are on the side of the PPI standing in a row near you, and the farmers allow you to look directly livestock fish are cultivated on the edge of the sea.

However, many visitors who come from outside the city want to visit the area just to see natural phenomena such as sunset and sunrise in the morning.
This PPI location has now been regularly expanded so that it is a very convenient location for driving, making it easier for everyone to do their daily activities, both fishermen and visitors who want to witness the beauty of the vast ocean located adjacent to the PPI location.

If world conditions are not affected by the corona pandemic, the connecting road between Pusong Village and Medan banda Aceh public road will soon be built, so if it is implemented it will be easier to visit the region.
