Nxt Client for NXT, ARDR, ... (Light) Wallet

Hello everyone,

I already wrote about the problems I had to create an antshares address (public and private key) and the solution I found, so that you don't have to store your ANS at an exchange. You can find that article here:
https://steemit.com/antshares/@frank77/antshares-paper-wallet-public-address-and-private-key

Since I had a similar problem with the NXT Wallet (where for example NXT or ARDR Coins can be stored) I want to let you know my solution to that too.

Well first of all I can recommend the following internet site where a lot of things are explained about the NXT Wallet:
https://www.nxter.org/nxt-tutorials/

So you can download the NXT Wallet for Windows on this site: https://nxt.org/ or here https://nxt.org/download/
The installation process is quite simple and it worked well. The creation of a NXT Seed (= private key) is simple.

My problem was now that I didn't want to download the whole nxt blockchain at first and wanted to use the wallet right away. The other solutions that are listed here: https://nxt.org/get-started/for-you/ were not right for me or didn't work.
For example the online wallet (here: https://wallet.mynxt.info/) is out of order at the moment:

So I searched the internet and after some time I found this solution on how to set the nxt client up as a light wallet:
https://nxtforum.org/nxt-helpdesk/nxt-lite/

There are some cautionary notes when you go to the orignial Link so everyone has to decide for his own.
For me that solution worked fine and I hope some of you find it usefull too.
All the best to you and have a great day!
