Some of the myths society has created around the non profit organizations prevent a lot of people to be socially productive by engaging these activities, to incorporate new organizations, to train volunteers to ser and develop social awareness, etc. Well, let's uncover some of the drama surrounding these organizations:
Myth-Non Profits DO NOT allow people to earn money while they serve, help or have a social purpose to assist others and chane lives.
TRUTH-As long as you use the money, grants, donations and others as a FUNDING activity, you can PAY to employees and even give INCENTIVES to Volunteers for helping.
REALITY-Paying employees and Volunteers some money is NOT fraud. Actually is very interesting because people get involved and compromised more as they get paid or have any incentive for helping. The BEST Job is where you are HAPPY to work and GET PAID for doing whatever it is.
