A HOUSE OR A HOME?

A HOUSE OR A HOME?

A house is a building where two or more people live in. It is where a couple lives in while a home is a place of calm and comfort for two or more people. For couples, a home is like a love nest. But many couples have failed to make the house their home. Their marriage is shallow and they do not even care. They expect time to form their marriage and to solve marital problems for them.

This can prove to be a very fatal mistake for the couples. It can disintegrate a couple’s relationship and their marriage can end in divorce. Now divorce is a situation whereby a marriage is dissolved in front of legal authorities in a court of law. Divorce was preached by Moses in the Old Testament but discouraged by Jesus Christ in the New Testament. God’s will for His Believers who are married and those who are about to marry is that their marriage should last long.

WAYS TO PRESERVE YOUR MARRIAGE

  1. GOD: God should come first as He is the foundation of every marriage. He is needed to make any marriage stand.

  2. LOVE AND CARE: You and your companion should love and care for each other. Show some affection towards each other and towards your children.

  3. TRUST: You and your partner need to trust each other no matter the circumstances. That way you will be able to withstand any situation.

  4. A COOL HEAD: A cool head is needed in the middle of a crisis or an argument as it does not complicate matters further.

  5. PRIVACY: Like they say and I quote, “Do not wash your dirty linen in the public”. Do not expose your family matters to the public. Keep them private or else you might attract gossips about your home.

  6. A FORGIVING SPIRIT: You must be ready to forgive any wrong done to you no matter if it is very grave by your partner if you really love each other as much as you say you do.

And do not deny your husband his conjugal rights at any time. I hope that with these few tips, you will be able to save your home and keep it from falling apart.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
