Now it's okay to love ...
It's okay to be loved...
Today ... I'll take you on a love journey that started 6years ago:
A love between unequals.
A love between men
A love between a King and his Prince
A Father's Love for his son
6 years ago, a very young man in his late teens walked into the tertiary institution for an examination that will glue him to that school for the next four years of his life.
Now he was coming from a place where he was a very decorated local champion. Now, this kind of achievement for someone his age was something to be proud of.
Was he proud? No
Was he humble? Well... In an ish kinda way
He had always heard of a community in school where it's members seem to operate like MARTIANS ...come to think of it these guys don't really function like earthlings😯
Here he sat😲 in his first meeting one Thursday evening, looking and listening to the leader of this great community whilst he spoke...to be perfectly honest...75% of his attention was lost on him trying to understand why the leader was so put together and immaculately dressed while the other 25% was lost on why the environment where the community met didn't look like what the leader preached.
The meeting ended and our youngling left with thoughts of this man and his words ringing even in his dream.
Now you might want to ask where the group met... Right ? I'll tell you:
IN A SWAMPY BUSH FAR NORTH OF CIVILIZATION😤
BUT THE LEADER KEPT SAYING WE'LL NOT REMAIN HERE over and over again until it became his anthem.
This pushed this young teenager to crave closure with this leader turned mentor of his.
4 years seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of the teenager turned man.
Did he, ACHIEVE the closure he desired ? YES
NOW not only did he he become important to this man ... The Mentor adopted him.
6 years later our Man is now very independent , wealthy and blessed.
6 years later he no longer is a local champion*
6 years later our Man is now a respected member of that same community.
6 years later our Man is now a FATHER TO MANY.
6 years later He is an excellent and efficient leader with results to back him up
6 YEARS LATER... I HAVE NOW BECOME A SOURCE OF SUCCOR TO CHILDREN AND YOUTHS ALL OVER THE WORLD
