Other Niche Communities Curation Report #376

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 376th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

[ESP-ING] Conociendo el Museo de Botero, Colombia - Getting to know the Botero Museum, Colombia

The Botero Museum is located in one of the cultural blocks of Bogotá, in the emblematic La Candelaria neighborhood.

It was created in the year 2000, since the artist Fernando Botero donated the works found there to the Banco de la República.

Road trip with My Husband - Places in Laguna and Batangas, Philippines

And so we are back here in Cebu City. Things are getting back to our normal daily routine. It's been more than a week now since we got home. Our children are missing their grandparents and cousins. The best we can do to see them is through video call on Messenger.

WEDNESDAY WALK, Vienna

Marcel Brion describes the symbiosis of Otto Wagner and Ernst Fuchs in an essay that can be read in the bibliophile museum catalogue. Here he describes Ernst Fuchs as a “visionary who sees through things”, as a “chronicler of unknown worlds”. “Not a specific ancient or modern myth, but Ernst Fuchs' own mysticism, in which everything or almost everything from his work resonates; not an education in the history of religions, not a skillful historical portrayal by an academic painter, but a mythology without precedents that includes them all, culminating in a hybrid marriage of hybrids invented or rediscovered by himself, melting pots of belief and intuition, superstition and liturgy, illumination and Nightmares, things that are hardly imaginable and things that are sensed in a visionary way. A world unto itself, a true world.” Fox about Fox, Marcel Brion, 1978 Piper Munich

[Esp / Eng] Preparing imitation yellow cheese based on carrots and potatoes

Nowadays it is very common to prepare vegan food, I find it very interesting to know recipes of this type to please everyone's tastes; today's recipe is the imitation of a yellow cheese based on carrots and potatoes, to participate in the contest The new plant-based challenge: I can't believe it's not cheese! It immediately caught my attention when I received the invitation from @tsunsica and I began to inquire among my acquaintances if they had ever tried something like this, leaving many surprised, until I talked to a lady and she told me that her granddaughter is vegan and made a carrot-based butter, from there the idea to make this recipe was born.

Recta final de las Eliminatorias Sudamericanas ¿Quiénes dirán presente en Qatar?

The World Cup qualifiers for Qatar are back, this time the atmosphere is quite tense, because with 4 rounds and 12 points in dispute, there are 7 teams that are still in the battle for 2 direct places and one more to the playoffs, it will be an exhausting closing, especially in the mental aspect, because the burden of office is immense and no player wants to leave his fans without the long-awaited World Cup to be played at the end of the year.

Part 2: The Traditional Wedding and Court House Marriage

My dad has a video of when her farther had her kneel in front of me and blessed our marriage but I do not have any good picture of this part of it from my own phone. This part was a little rushed because we wanted to get to the court house by 10am.

My Wednesday Walk “My Favourite place in Málaga City, Spain” The Historic Botanical Garden 🤩

“The origins of La Concepcion Estate can be traced back to the joining together of several smaller estates along the banks of the River Guadalmedina to the north of the city of Malaga. Used for agricultural purposes, they were home to cereal crops, olive and almond trees, vines, and, most notably, citrus trees. The garden was created by the Marquis and Marchioness of the House of Loring, Jorge Loring Oyarzabal and Amalia Heredia Livermore. According to the jurist Rodriguez de Berlanga, the idea for the garden originally came to them after they had visited a series of palaces, villas, parks, estates, and botanical gardens during their honeymoon in Europe seven years earlier.”

Renovando el internet en mi hogar | cambio a nueva tecnología [Esp-Eng]

It's no secret that almost everyone's (if not everyone's) life today is driven by technology. The use of cell phones, computers, social networks, through the use of the internet, makes this service a priority in our lives.

It is no longer a luxury to have internet, but rather an almost vital necessity. In these times of pandemic, in which many of us were forced to stay at home, either for distraction, but more for work, the internet became too important in our daily life and coexistence.

Begasingan, Traditional Spinning Top From Lombok

I was always curious about some of the ornaments that belong to my villa owner. I know that my villa owner is an art lover, some of which are kinda weird in my taste. But he has been all over the world I am sure he knows more than I do.

One of them is these lovely colored ornaments sitting in the kitchen area. It has been there for so many years. I personally only clean it and hardly really try to find out what is it.
