News has come in that the number one NFT marketplace OPENSEA has either been hacked or certain users have been affected by a phishing email attack. Now the tally has been set at 150 ETH (Ethereum) worth $410 thousand US dollars. Of NFT have been stolen from users' wallets. Top developers and coders on Twitter and across the internet have said the phishing email claim is a hoax by the CEO of OpenSea marketplace. And that this is one of the biggest NFT smart contract exploit this year.
On-chain information published by Peckshield reveals that they swiped over 250 items from high-value collections like Bored Ape Luxury Yacht Club, Doodles, Azuki, and also NFT Globes. The wallet of the hacker has somehow been tracked and banned but the hacker's wallet is now re-selling the stolen NFTs on other marketplaces. WOW.
