WAX the King of NFTs is going multichain! If you're a fan of WAX and NFTs like myself you know that this is a huge step for WAX.
The WAX team seems to be really busy making upgrades to the tech that are going to make a meaningful impact in pushing WAX forward.
They're also getting a lot better at supporting the independent artist on WAX, with programs like #CreatorsFirst - The $10,000 Shopping Spree, and supporting independent content creators on WAX with WAXHUB: Unleash Your Inner Creator!
I feel like giving the community more power to help drive things forward like this is gonna be amazing in helping bring the WAX community and team together.
Multichain Market Support
WAX is a superfast and eco-friendly blockchain.
And according to blocktivity.info WAX is the #1 blockchain in the World for blockchain activity, and transactions on WAX can be free if you stake WAX, if not there is a very small transaction fee.
It doesn't take a huge stake to get free transactions and enough ram to run your WAX account either
And one of the best features of the WAX tech aside from being really affordable is that it's very user-friendly.
After watching a couple of 15 min tutorials on Youtube and going through the process of creating your own NFT, anyone can create NFTs on WAX.
They also have tools allowing anyone with no coding experience to create NFT packs, blends, games, NFT staking pools, Dao's, and a lot more!
This tech along with WAX's amazing community is what makes WAX the King of NFTs and they're now adding another amazing feature to WAX by allowing NFTs to be bridged to Ethereum and EVM Chains Binance and Polygon.
It really got started when Neftyblocks started allowing NFTs to be bridged over to Polygon!
Other projects like Wombat allowed for token staking on Poloygon which yielded benefits in their WAX P2E Game Dungeon Master which is cool but WAX is about NFTs and being able to bridge our NFTs is a greater level of amazingness.
And the WAX team recently made it possible for NFTs to be bridged over to Ethereum and Binance Chain via the WAX Cloud Wallet.
With that being said, not all NFTs on WAX will be able to be bridged over to these other chains. This is a feature that has to be enabled by the artist of the collection before the NFTs can be bridged.
This makes total sense and allows artists to make sure they get their royalties and other things that need to be taken care of.
Advantages of WAX NFT Bridges to EVM Chains
WAX NFTs going multichain is so great because it allows for the possibility of huge profit margins for both artists and resellers.
Artists can mint their NFTs and do their drops on a super fast and feeless blockchain then bridge their NFTs over to Opensea on Ethereum and EVM Chains where NFTs sell for a lot more if they'd like.
Users like myself can finally bridge our WAX PFPs over to EVM Chains chains so that platforms like Twitter and Telegram can verify our PFPs on the blockchain.
This helps us flex on Twitter and be a part of making our PFP communities more mainstream.
This again can only be good for resellers...

WAX Project is in a Growth Phase!
There has been some disconnect between the WAX team and the WAX community in the past, but I feel like some of that is starting to work itself out.
WAX is going through a growth period. Its technology is getting a lot of upgrades lately, the artist and creators are receiving more support from the core team, and the project is maturing overall.
Seems to be a combination of the WAX team doing more to support the communities artist and content creators as well as people just saying screw it building things they want to see as well as opposed to waiting for the WAX team to build what they want.
One of the improvements that came to my mind when I started connecting with people on AtomicHub was the reputation system. And Now I see that ChainChamps, another great marketplace on WAX, has designed an AI system that assigns wallets a reputation score as well as analyzes transaction data to detect bots and bad actors on the blockchain.
There's just so much work being done and development taking place on WAX right now that it's difficult not to be excited as a WAX user.
A lot of people are working on the parts of the project that matter which I think will help us turn things around and get more new users coming in to use these amazing tools and interact with this amazing community.
