Yes. Everyone can win. All you have to do is be an active NextColony explorer and provide proof of your adventures. I'll send each and every one of you a Splinterlands Common Card :) The goal is cross promotion. If you are an explorer, now you can have more fun with Splinterlands. If you are Splinterlands player, you have an extra incentive to keep upgrading your shipyard and set out few ships :)
