Another re-lo day, as we drove for 3 1/2 hours from Hokitika to Christchurch. Going over Arthur's Pass was so picturesque that we stopped along the road here for a lunchtime charcuterie.
Then it was on to Christchurch. The staff had made some playful towel art to welcome us. Our bed had an elephant, while the living room coffee table had this rose and towel decoration.
The room jacuzzi gave us time to create our own art before a fine dinner of blue cod and salad. Blue cod has a buttery texture we first enjoyed in Dunedin, and it quickly became a clear winner for seafood.
