2018 FIFA World Cup, Group Stage: Sweden 1 : 0 South Korea 2018-06-18

Andreas Granqvist scored a 65th-minute penalty awarded by the video assistant referee (VAR) as Sweden began their World Cup campaign with a 1-0 victory over South Korea on Monday at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.

20': Marcus Berg misses a chance.

65': Andreas Granqvist scores a goal.

Bullshit Time:

Another boring game. After Sweden scored one goal, they started stop attack and focus on defense and wasting time when there was more than 20 minutes left. South Korea only created one or two chances in the whole game. It is unlikely that South Korea will score some goals in the next two games after seeing their performance on this one. They have to make some improvement on the attacking side. Germany and Mexico will advance in this group.

Man of the match: Andreas Granqvist, 33 years old, 192cm, 84kg, has 1 goal and 2 assists in Russia Premier League, and 1 goal in UEFA Europa League for FC Krasnodar last season.
