2018 FIFA World Cup, Group Stage: Brazil 1 : 2 Belgium 2018-07-06

Belgium ran out 2-1 winners against Brazil to end the Selecao's World Cup at the quarterfinal stage on Friday night, sending Neymar's side home from Russia and putting Roberto Martinez's team into the semifinals.

13': Own Goal by Fernandinho.

31': Kevin De Bruyne scores a goal, assisted by Romelu Lukaku.

37': Coutinho shoots, assisted by Marcelo.

76': Renato Augusto scores a goal, assisted by Coutinho.

90'+4': Neymar (Brazil) shoots, assisted by Douglas Costa.

Bullshit Time:

First goal gave Belgium advantage so that they could focus more on defense and counterattack. Second goal made Belgium feel much more safer so that they played calmer. Belgium defended very well, they didn't give many chances to Brazil to shoot inside the box and blocked Coutinho most of time outside of the box.

On there other hand, you can see how good it is Brazil when they attacking. They created several chances but only seized one. Belgium was much more efficient than Brazil, and that was how they won the game.

Man of the match: Thibaut Courtois, 26 years old, 199cm, 96kg, is playing for Chelsea now but might move to Real Madrid for next season.
