Go to Jail for Your Opinion? Yes. Say 16 European Countries, and Israel.

You might think it's a joke, I wish it was but no, some are already living that reality.

Daily Mail: 89-yr-old German woman sent to prison for denying the Holocaust

For instance Ursula Haverbeck. She has just been arrested for an opinion and writing about it. Yes, you read that right. This 89-year-old German woman was arrested and is going to jail for 2 years because she doesn’t buy into the story of the Holocaust as it has been told to us in the history books.

This story is new to me and doing just a little online research tells me that I probably don’t agree with everything Ms. Haverbeck says, but the way she is being treated and the way the media portrays her makes me want to find out more. If she is brave enough to stick to her conviction to the point of going to jail for it; that’s very telling. It also says a lot about a law that would allow the arrest and jailing of someone for an opinion. It’s true, it is a law in several European countries (and Israel) that you may not deny the story about the Holocaust as it is written in the history books. Truly amazing. Supposedly, ‘to not ever let it happen again’. Well, duh, it is happening. What do you call it when someone is being arrested for an opinion? To me, it’s called fascism.

Sure, you may have an opinion…

as long as it aligns with the way the State wants you to think, you’re good to go. So, Ms. Haverbeck doesn’t agree with the State and was part of a few organizations that thought differently as well. I suppose that makes her an enemy of the State. She’s been arrested, so it must be true.

I live in Germany, so it’s already part of my reality, but do you see where this is going in your own reality?

This may seem like an odd way of looking at it, but It’s actually similar to what Kanye West is going through right now. Although coming from a totally different perspective, he is just speaking his mind. What in the world is wrong with that? He’s getting so much backlash for the statements he made, that it makes me wonder if we are really allowed to say what we think?

Not in the mainstream reality anyway. In that reality you must agree with the bully, the one who has power over you, otherwise, you get backlash and bullied into a new opinion, their opinion. Or, as in the case of Ursula Haverbeck, even jailed. Here is the place I should mention that Germany is thought of as a progressive socially inclusive country. Well, what about those that don’t share the same opinion as the government, do they get the same kind of freedom to be themselves?

What are those in powerful positions afraid of? I think they are afraid of losing control over us.

It’s time to bust those mental chains.

According to natural law, as long as there is no violence towards another individual involved, no one has the right to determine what another person should be thinking, saying or writing. Even Christ would agree I dare say.

Blessings of Grace, love and light your way <3
