World's first 24-hours news network, CNN is headquartered in Atlanta. It is home to several CNN newsrooms and studios in a single building called CNN Center. Just after Ted Turner flagged off this news network with its full swing on June 1 1980 he said, "I dedicate this news channel for America."
CNN headquarter in Atlanta gives all the visitors a real experience of its working studios and its newsroom environment with employees on their job. It sparked a sense of imagination in my mind of how exactly it would be at the time of big emergency news releases like gun violation at a Florida based school, election of new president or 9/11 terrorist attack. It is difficult to even imagine how would be the scenario and how the anchors, editors and back end team manage to keep calm and deliver those moving yet crucial stories.
