LHOKSEUMAWE - Hundreds of students demonstrated in the Kutablang Rencong Monument, Lhokseumawe City, Monday (09/24/2018).
This action was to commemorate the 58th national peasant day.
The demonstrators demanded that the government stop imports and improve the welfare of the people by increasing the purchasing power of agricultural, marine and fishery products.
The demonstrators also rejected the IMF-WB meeting in Indonesia.
In addition, students also asked the government to guarantee freedom of democracy in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the government was asked to stabilize the national economy, and evaluate the distribution of subsidized fertilizers to be right on target.
