Trump tweets Obama wiretap accusation

There has been important news from the White House today.

First, without citing a shred of evidence whatsoever, the current President accused a prior President of what would amount to another Watergate scandal. Accusations like this should be made very carefully and deliberately—and certainly not without evidence.

Second, Trump has made sure that we all know that, in his opinion, Arnold Schwarzenegger was fired from Celebrity Apprentice and that it was due to his "bad (pathetic)" ratings.

As Americans around the country should be able to tell from this "Tweet storm" of Trump's, the White House is clearly and singularly focused on crafting policies and priorities that will help working- and middle-class Americans. As we all know, a lack of baseless accusations and the absence of rants about reality TV are all that were standing between working-class Americans and economic success.

It is unfortunate that Trump chose to follow up such a stellar address to Congress with this latest round of Tweets. Truth be known, I sincerely wish that Trump would delete his Twitter account entirely. I want a White House that is laser-focused on policy solutions, not one that is perpetually distracted by cloak-and-dagger intrigues.
