The Team behind Veritaseum Token announced that they also have been a victim of an hacker attacke just as manny other ICOs
All in all the thefts stole 36.000 Token and swapped them immediately into Ether over an exchange. The news spread just as a user posted a chat of the official Veritaseum Slack channel where the founder Reggie Middleton confirmed the thefth.
According to that the Token should have been deducted just in a couple of hours without noticing of the community. With the used Adress they were able to finde out that the Token have been exchanged over the decentralized exchange EtherDelta.
They exchanged Token worth about 8 Million USD into Ether what coursed a drop of Veritaseums value.
Middleton said that the damage is in suspension as the stolen Token are 0,07% of all available Token.
Till now the value has stabilized.
