China today donated the said amount for the relief operations and rehabilitations of Marawi. This is to boost the resources of both the Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
This donation is part of the bilateral relations between China and the Philippines, an example of the flourishing partnership between the two countries and their shared commitment towards sustainablebpeace in the region.
According to President Duterte, various agencies of the government have been created to hasten recovery efforts in Marawi City.
Martial Law was declared in Marawi City to counteract terrorism against the ISIS-pledged group led by the Maute Brothers.
